This is a project I shot for Craig Konyk, a professor of architecture at Pratt. I love how Craig solved the problem of getting light into a basement apartment. These apartments are notoriously dark and gloomy, but Craig cleverly put a glass floor to the ground level allowing light to poor in.
This is a small penthouse I shot for Salazar Architects. It is a contemporary space that is a joy to experience. The clean lines gave it its modern sensibility and the warm tones and textures leant a comfortable feel.
This is an incredible project Jasmit Rangr did in the Dominican Republic. Jasmit cleverly used a native coral to clad the building giving it a unique sense of place. The modern lines of this house are at once soothing and compellingly dynamic. It was a feast for the eye.
